Miller, De Kock power South Africa to series-levelling win over New Zealand
South Africa won the second T20I against New Zealand by 6 wickets at Eden Park, Auckland, to level the series at 1-1. David Miller's explosive unbeaten 34 off 18 and Quinton de Kock's aggressive start proved too much for the home side to contain.
New Zealand had posted 174/6, with Ross Taylor and Kane Williamson contributing handy half-partnerships. However, South Africa's reply was always controlled, with the Proteas reaching their target in the penultimate over.
Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje were the pick of the South African bowlers in the first innings, taking two wickets each. The third and deciding T20I is scheduled for Saturday.
