Pakistan Cricket Board has named Farhan Yousaf as captain of the Pakistan Under-19 team for their upcoming tour of England. The young batter will lead the side during a tour that includes a Youth Test and four Youth ODIs against England.
Farhan enters the tour with valuable leadership experience. He previously captained Pakistan to the ACC Under-19 Asia Cup title in December 2025, making him a natural choice to lead the young Pakistan side in England.
The Pakistan U19 tour is scheduled to begin on September 2 with a Youth Test at Arundel Castle Cricket Ground. The Test match will be followed by four Youth ODIs, providing the players with exposure to different formats and English playing conditions.
The squad includes a strong group of young fast bowlers, including Mohammad Sayyam, Abdul Subhan, Rizwanullah and Umar Zaib. Pakistan have also selected spin options Mohammad Huzaifa and Niqab Shafiq for the tour.
The batting group includes Farhan Yousaf alongside Usman Khan and Hasnain Abbas Dar, while Hamza Zahoor and Abdul Qadir have been selected as wicketkeepers. The squad also contains several all-round options who could play important roles during the tour.
